I always shot them. If they ever come back I will shoot them again.

I killed a ton of stuff with em back in the day. I still have about 2 dozen 2117 and 2018's. Hard to beat. I still pick a few up here and there around here.

I have been building custom AO and selling them in my shop for years. The shafts are getting real hard to find these days.

Love 'em! Killed my first deer with AO XX75 - the "old school" nostalgia they bring makes me smile. I know my carbons are tougher and straighter but would snap up 2016 or 2018 if I could find them...

I have a dozen I got new in box, but they are not marked anywhere. Just the orange color all over and three green stripes. was this common at all.

A couple of years ago Easton had the Yukon shaft on the market that was practically the same color but featured their uni bushing nock system.  Looks like the pulled them off the market also.

My sisters boyfriend said he found some old archery stuff in his granddad's attic. Curious, I told him to bring it when he came by next time. In an old arrow box were several old MA-3 broadheads and a half dozen autumn orange shafts. In another box were a dozen aluminum arrows made by Tru-flite,they were a yellowish/gold color. I had never heard of Tru-Flite arrows before.

Mike,
Any 2117's :^) I'll stop by and see you and your lovely wife.

Was there any difference between the autumn orange and the autumn hunters?  Just curious...
A slight color difference, and different labels.
When you put them side by side the color difference is easy to see. The lable on the AO is often hard to see, not so on the AH.

I have 10 2219's cut to 29 1/4 inches to bop which I haven't used in years.  I do have a half dozen 2117's cut to the same length which I fletch and refletch from time to time and shoot a good bit.

I'm not sure I like them better than any of the more recent aluminums though.  In fact, I'm not sure I like the tapered nock end all that well either.

If anyone can use the 2219's described above, I'll be happy to do some trading.  They are currently unfletched, but I might even make a deal and fletch them for you.
