I dug this photo out of Bill from my album. I had a few more of his success photos...still looking. Here is Bill with a nice buck shooting an Original Bighorn Recurve from Asbell.

Am I correct that I remember Bill Krenz' name first associated with Doug Kittredge's Bow Hut? Their catalog was my dream book when I first got into traditional bows.

joe skipp

Yes..Coues deer and Bill ran the Bow Hut for years before moving on to a position with Hoyt/Easton.

That picture has been mentally burned into my brain since I was 13 and first reading Jim Dougherty's "Guide To Bowhunting Deer". That book has since become my 2nd bible, and I've never forgotten that picture...

Archery isn't something I do, it's who I am!
The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

Although I never met Bill, I feel like I know him.  I have read many of his articles over the years and always enjoyed them.  Thanks for the pic.

Joe, thanks.  Bill knew what he was talking about when it came to ANY kind of hunting.  Grabbed this photo off the Bowsite figuring it would fit here better!
