I got the very 1st production (Yes, no. 1) of Mikes new 60" recurve! Man I don't even have the words to describe it! I draw 29" and this baby is a smooth puller for me. No finger pinch or stacking that I can feel. I have a small hand for someone of my height and stature, and let me say the grip is one of the best that I've felt in a recurve. The bow is extremely light in the hands and a joy to shoot. If you folks want a good stand and blind bow, or just want a great quality recurve, then give Mike a call!

Bow is 60", 50# @ 28". Bumblebee dymondwood riser w/walnut limb cores and black glass back/belly.

Obviously that bow has to come to me when you get tired of it!

Wannabe1

Patrick, this will be the only recurve I keep but, if for some reason it has to go, you've got first dibs.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I did some shooting this morning and on the 4th go around, approx. 15yds across my back yard, I got the below grouping. I need to put some string silencers on it but, outside of that, it is a smoker.

Looks good!Nice grip and very nice arrow shelf design.Looks like it would sit very nice and snug in the hand the way the arrow shelf wraps over the meat of the hand.

Wannabe1

I pull this bow about 53# @ 29". Would an Easton Legacy 2219 shaft cut 29.5 BOP, be to stiff for this bow? I would shoot a 175gr tip.

That's a sweet looking bow, Congrats

I think the 2219 is gonna be a bit stiff personelly even with the heavy tip.Doesnt hurt to try though.Cut to 30.5-31 inches might do the trick with the heavier 175 gr. point.

One of these sizes 2018,2115 or 2020 would be better IMO.Is it cut to center?

That is one awesome looking B...ow!

It sure looks like one of them big ol yaller bumble bees.

A long curve is a beauty to behold.. I'd love to be-holding that one or one like it.

Every long curve I've shot holds and feels almost like a regular longbow to me but shoots a little faster.

Good work Mike and congratulations Wannabe1 !!

Thanks for sharing.

God bless,Mudd

TW Was the first to order the 60" recurve so I marked it as such with the "001"  stinger was a name for it he chose since he went with the bumble bee colored d-wood.  The only thing I'd have done different is make the tips a little shorter; not much just about a half inch on each.  But all in all the first I made, aside from my prototype, which I still have, it turned out pretty good.

I'm finishing up the second one ordered, it's similar but 35# @ 28" and I used candy cane colored d-wood on it, as requested but the cuctomer.
