Just got an early Christmas gift. I wanted a little different quiver for an older one piece recurve and didn't want to tap the riser. Talked to mike at Outcast Traditions and he sent me one to test drive.Matched my bow too well and had to have it. A very well thought out design , secure and great craftsmanship.Mike was great to do business with and a great product.

I was just looking at their web site last night.  Awesome looking quver!  How's the weight and does it affect the balance of your bow?  I've been wanting to go to a bow quiver for the convenience, but can't stand the added weight and how it makes my longbow just feel lopsided in my hand.  How do you think it will hold up durability-wise?

Nice looking quivber.  Might want to put a piece of felt or leather under the quiver arm where it touches the bow, if there isn't one already there, to keep from marring the riser's surface.

Those are great looking quivers,I have been thinking of ordering one. Please post your thoughts after using it for a little while.

Looks great on your bow!

there  are rubber discs where the quiver arm touches bow, very light , functions great.

Those are neat looking quivers, I actually talked to Mike over email not to long ago about his recurves.  Think I might have to drive over to his shop and check them out since it's only about 15 miles away.

jsweka, it's a very light quiver and balances very well.i was going to order a fancy burl model but that one matched the bow too well.

Nice. I am in emails/ talks with Mike at the moment about getting my first bow quiver from them. Great guy so far very helpful and seems to know their stuff.

Glad you like the quiver Chad . It was a pleasure doing business with you also .
The quivers are  laid up very similar to bows with veneer and fiberglass. Cooked at the same temperatures and pressures.

They weight in at 5.5 ounces and they hang close to the bow.

As far as how tuff they are  . I say they are as tuff as your bow, but don't use them as a walking stick  .

Mike
