I am having trouble deciding which bow to get either a chek-mate falcon or a venom recurve by diamondback archery I wanted your guys input on which bow was better etc. Thanks very much guys and if you have dealt with diamond back what do you think of them

I bought a Chek Mate Kings pawn deluxe off the rack and a Chek mate Hunter II through the mail. Excellent bowe, I love my Chek. Have no experience wit the falcon or the venom .

you can't go wrong with a Chek mate BUT try shooting both the models you're interested in if at all possible.
44# Chek mate Hunter II

there is NO such generalized thing as a "best bow".  that's total nonsense.  there is such a thing as a "best bow for YOU".

how do you know what bow is "best for you"?  think about that statement a bit.  i'm sure yer gonna come to the conclusion that the only way to know how a bow will work for *you* is by shooting it - try before you buy.  oh ... can't try before you buy?  that's called "gambling" ... feeling lucky? good luck!  :)

this is a prime reason why there's so much bow turnover in the classifieds.  welcome to the club.  we've all paid our bow dues.   :D

I agree with Rob, unless you shoot them both you are probably just gambling with your money, just gives someine else a deal on a used bow generally!
