I thought I'd introduce myself to the members at tradgang, .  I have been shooting a trad bow for 3 years and I really enjoy it.  I almost connected on my first animal with a bow this year but I still have lots to learn.  I reside in Alberta - an outdoorsman's paradise and I shamefully admit that I still hunt with a rifle.  The freezer is full but my best hunting experiences have been with my recurve in hand.

I have been lurking here for years and I've had my ID for a while but  not really been involved.

I have a lot of respect for the folks on this forum and the depth of knowledge here.

What would you attempt to do, if you knew you could not fail?

Peace brother! Dont be ashamed of the rifle! Always shoot it till you no longer can. Just save this forum for the beloved trad bow!!
Love Alberta, hunted the northern Peace River many times around Carcajou and Keg River. Saw my first and only wolf there. BIG bears on that Peace River. My Dad shot one weighing 502#. Got a few myself, one didn't get weighed, but had to be close to 400. HUGE head, green scored just over 21 inches, haven't had it measured since.
Shot my first trad animal ever up there with an Appalation Savage River takedown.
What part are you from?
