Back in the 80's Easton made two shafts for Golden Key Futura.
One was a 22-20 and the other a 24-40. These were xx75 material
with the Black Forest camo and designated as "big game" shafts.
Does anyone remember the grain weight or spine of them?

Thanks, Jerry

Not sure but I heard the legend of them down to JLMBH...supposed to be super heavy spine and weight.

They are both heavy and stiff! I believe the 2440's were between 1000 and 1200 grains bare shaft. Even Easton doesn't have any info.

I have 6 I picked up off "Eb@y". They are in my storage unit so I cant weigh them for you...gotta play with mine to see what uni-knock adapter will work with them. The point end of mine are swaged. Google searched them and found few referances and no real solid info.......
Bowhunting is "KILL and EAT" not "Catch and Release".....Semper Fi!

Yes Jerry they spine close to 200# I shoot them out of my 150# longbow they are very heavy! Great arrows for very high poundage bow well above 120# plus. I've even put very heavy point and a special made alluminum nocks! But when shot out of 100# compound they are junk bend very easy!

I had some of those that I shot out of a #100 PSE compound I bought way back when. I think they weighed 1300 grains with the broadheads.  I got it from a guy that used it to take a Rhino, a Hippo, and a Cape Buffalo (he was quite wealthy).  It was more of a novelty than anything.  I did crank it way down to 80 pounds and hunted with it for several years.  I still have the bow, but I couldn't tell you where the shafts are.  I probably used them for tomato stakes or something.
