Any trad shooters in and around Charleston SC,

bawana bowman

I believe DuckButt is in Charleston, Tim Ziegler in Summerville, Looper is nearby I think, and WildmanSC is in Goose Creek.
I lived in Charleston about 30 years ago. Still go there occasionally to visit relatives on the "Bosses" side of family.

Looper

I'm on the other end of the state, but I'm going down in a few days to hunt the Francis Marion.  They've got a pig problem I'm going to sort out for them.

Looper say hello to the old swamp fox for me while you are there. I know he's around the woods in that area. My aunt went to Francis Marion college. She dated a guy by the name of Mark Herndon who later became the Drummer for the band Alabama. This was when they still played Myrtle Beach all the time. He stuck it out for many years and had a great career.

I hunted the Francis Marion for several years when living in Charleston. Great area with several TG members close by. Now out of Dallas, Texas but loved my time in the low country. Have fun and be safe.

Blaino

I'm not in Charleston (graduated from The Citadel) anymore but, Columbia aint too far.

There are quite a few members living in the lowcountry, I just can't remember all their handles.  There is an upcoming youth rabbit hunt held by the Bowhunters of SC in early Feb I believe.  It would be a good time to get out and meet some of the other trad guys.

Thanks for the responces,I just rented a little place right on the edge of Francis marion national forest,on wagon wheel path. The company that I work for is opening a branch office in Charleston, and I will be relocating. It is nice to know so many are near,I hope to meet some/all in the future.I will have to buy a non resident license, and I don't have time at the moment.I'm working at Boeing now,and is 7 days a week.Again thanks.

You can meet some of the guys at the Trad shoot in Febuary. More details to come later on it later.

When you get some time, holler at me and TimZ.  We'll buy you lunch close to Boeing and tell you all the places to kill the critters we can't.
