What sort of carbon arrows do you guys suggest?
I use a Border Black Douglas 48#, my drawlenth is 28".
I used Easton powerflights 500, they were fast but a bit too light in actual weight and they had no penetration in the target.

im shooting similar setup. Gold tip 3555's

I prefer Arrow Dynamics. I shoot a heavier draw, so I use Hammerheads. maybe for you the Hammerhead lights might be good.

i use axis 500 off a 45pound Bow they have 175grn up front and have plenty penetration

Personally, I love Beman MFX Classic shafts. They are heavy, small diameter shafts.

Easton Powerflight 300's (full lengnth) with 200grn points out of my 50# recurve. The heavy points give a high FOC and ensure good penetration. They weigh in at 550grns and I get around 165fps.

I like Arrow Dynamics also. The tapered shaft make them very spine tolerant. I can shoot them out of all my bows, from 45# to 57# by just changing to point weight. I shoot CE 3050's and 4560's also for 3D shoots.

A 29 inch CE Heritage 150 should shoot great out of your bow.  They are 10 gpi and a tough arrow too.

I've always shot the GT 5575 with a brass insert up front for weight.

I'm also a Beman MFX Classic fan.  Very durable, small diameter and high quality in terms of straightness and weight. I shoot 600s out of 46# at 26" but I'm moving to 500s and a heavier broadhead to increase arrow weight after deer season concludes.

cheap, er, rather, "inexpensive" beman ics bowhunter 500.  these are the shafts i use for all my carbon hunting arrows.  

a 29" length with the supplied alum insert, 3 or 4 feathers and nock will weigh about 255 grains,

use a 125 grain point adapter and 125 grain broadheads, field points or judos for a completed arrow weight of about 505 grains for 10.5gpp and about 21% foc.  

drop the adapter to 100 grains and you've got a 10gpp arrow.  

it will fly just fine and with a sharp coc broadhead it will kill just fine, too.

What are the rest of your arrow specs (tip weight, inserts, etc.)? Easton Powerflights are the same shaft as Beman ICS Bowhunters (which used to be ICS Hawks, then ICS Ventures). I use the Easton 400s for some of my older bows, and Beman 340s for my newer recurves.

Also, did you bareshaft tune your current setup? After knowing the rest of your specs, suggesting a heavier arrow that should fly the same (i.e. same dynamic spine) would be easy.

I only shoot 3 D but the arrows were too light and my bow got noisy and the bow could not get the whole energy into the arrow.
I am thinking of buying a few CE Heritage.
Don`t know if I need 150 or 250 spine.

My sig line has my arrow preference & the bows I use them out of.

Gold Tip Trad 35/55 w/ 125gr. point, standard insert w/ 10gr. weight adapter & a 1" piece of 2117 Footer to strengthen up the tip end & 5" feathers.
AW: 446gr.

Try a google search for the spine readings on the CE Heritage shafts. I'm not sure what they are for those two sizes. One of them will probably be 500, which is what you shoot now. The other may be stiffer (around 400). You may want to try that one with a heavier point if you're looking to increase your arrow weight.

How long are your current arrow shafts? Is there any room to shorten them?

There is room to shorten them a bit.
If I use 29,5" they will be OK.
I think I will buy a few CE Heritage shafts, I think they will will do what I want.

I shoot Arrow Dynamics and have for a number of years now.  I have been shooting the Nitro Stinger yellow lettering with 145BH, 125 adaptor and alu insert.  I can beef it up by adding the 100gr. brass insert.

This set up works on 45-53# recurves and 50-55 LB's for me.

These arrows are the easiest things to get to wok on your bow...  I am going to be trying some trad lites very soon.
