Nice Job! Hard to come up with something unique with elk racks.
If man were to know everything in advance, there would be no such thing as adventure!

Very nice.  Great way to make an elk mount fit in a room with 8 foot ceilings!  Got to kill an elk first, though....

Randy, I saw pics of that bull in the highlights section and though, Wow that is nice. Now I see your unique mount and I think, Wow that is nice.    :clapper:

Very nice!  I didn't notice any tools, must have been distracted by the mount and all the antlers on the floor    :biglaugh:
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Very nice.  Especially since your dad was involved.

Dirtybird

That looks like the room of a single man.  Ha ha...Congrats on the elk and nice mount.

Looks good Randy.  Who did the "bleach" job?  Think it would take a lot smaller unit to mount the pigs we shoot next month.  Ha

Take care, see ya in Jan for the Triple Crown.

Ryan Sanpei

Sweet!  Great idea!  Now all I need is an Elk!

That looks good, Randy. Not that I've ever shot an elk that big, but I have wondered what kind of a mount would work if I should. I like that idea.

Very nice, my wife might even let some thing like that in the family room.

ArkyBob

Sweet, I'm liking that mount.  :bigsmyl:
