Mostly aluminum. Had a couple carbons break in two and now too afraid of having one go through my bow hand.

My favorite arrow after 4.5 decades of shooting is the Beman MFX Classic. I just "discovered" this year. I also have Easton Legacy Aluminums which I cut the swage of and install an uni-bushing so I can rotate nocks.

I don't shoot wood. I messed around with making wooden arrows a half-dozen years ago, sealing, cresting, etc.  However, I never owned a wooden arrow I thought was straight enough.  I realize this is because I am too ignorant when it comes to making and caring for wood arrows.

Carbon and Aluminim, depends on the bow, and the reason or season I guess.
right now the bow i'm huting with I had a ton of aluminum shafts for it and not many carbon so I fletched up the aluminum.  My heavier bows (55+) I shoot Hammer heads.  I can get the weight I need and the correct spine with a 200 grain head with the HH.

regardless I always try to shoot minimum 10 gpp.

I took up traditional archery in 2005 and started with wood arrows. I will be going to aluminum this winter. I have a couple of XX78's 2016's and they fly more consistent. I will still use my cedars to stump shoot ect. till they are all broke.

Reinforced Carbons, then wood or grass, then     ...
I don't know why, but Aluminum for me is just there to reinforce carbons..
I just have no feel for the stuff..

Same here.

A little surprised at the amount of cabon users.

I only have used wood, POC and now Dougles fur.

I'am just old and hard headed to try others.
