I was given these by my Uncle and was wondering what kind of heads theses are. They were originally his fathers. I did not weigh them because I did not want to take them off his arrows.

GRAYBEARD

To my uneducated eye, they appear to be early Bear razorheads. I'm sure there is someone here to confirm. Ron Brunges is a good broadhead man.

Bears with bleeders! They don't appear to have ever been resharpened.

I don't know what those aluminum arrows are -- did they make Gamegetters (that's what they look like) in the 60's?

Jack Whitmire Jr

They look to be mounted on Bear Magnum arrows.

To be clear, 64 or newer. The front of the vent coming down to a point is a design change that occured in 1964.

Prior to that the front and rear of the vent was similar.

64-78 to be clearer! Starting in 78 they were painted a dark green!

I believe they are mounted on green painted cedar shafts.  Bear Razorheads are probably the most recognized head ever. It's rare to have someone ask the question.  Nothing wrong with that though  :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl: ...Van

Does anyone know why they would take the best selling broadhead of all time, and just stop making it?
