Well, Sat. starts the late season so, good luck to all of you who haven't filled the tags yet.         I'll be out there chasing after that ever elusive first still. Probably won't get to go after elk but, will be taking a heavy enough bow just in case. I hear there's elk in the area I hunt deer, though I've yet to see one in 5yrs.

Good luck!  I wasn't able to get an archery tag this year (long story).  I will miss the late season-another chance!

snag

I drew the Willy tag and was out this past weekend. Found some thrashed fir seedlings and a bunch of other sign. I might have to pull out the treestand and rattling antlers.

Good luck TW hope to see a picture of you with a dead critter

Ron, sorry to hear your weren't able to get out. Hopefully next year?

Dave, I'll be out with "THE BOW" and if anything gives me a chance, I'll make it count. Been shooting as much as possible and feel I'm pretty deadly out to 25yds. I just hope it all comes together. The rut is on so, should have a chance.

Ben, I had entertained thoughts of hunting with one of my Hills since I used the ST Joe for the early season but, I shoot it so well, I decided to stay with what is working for now. Besides, I kind of wanted to get my first deer using this bow as I had it special made! Thanks again.

I wish I was getting ready to let the air out of a stinky buck, but I haven't recovered enough to pull a bowstring yet.

But I have been shooting a few bucks with my Nikon recently!     :saywhat:

Ron, I wish you could be out there also. You always have a great story and pics of a killer blacktail. Would love to see some of those Nikon harvests.   :D

Sarge...I won't be killing anything anytime soon, so it's up to you and Snag to pick up the slack and do some killing. You guys spend too much time on Tradgang and not enough time in the woods!    :archer:      ;)

I promise to change that this weekend. I'll be out before light and after dark!

And you're right, I spend to much time on here.      :D

Thanks Blake! I'm in rehab, but hiking in the woods watching bucks in the rut is the best therapy.    :)

All gear is ready to go! I'll be leaving at 0 dark 30. Man, I hope I can pull it off but weather is kind of giving me doubt. Rain and winds might put a damper on things.
