What are surewoods?  I haven't heard of them.  I shoot what ever flys well.  Mostly I am shooting aluminum now but carry a self wood nock sinew reinforced ash shaft with a flint head for the next buck that gets with in 30 yards or so of me.

S.C. Hunter

I use GT 5575 cut to 29.5" bop with 50 grain insert and 175 grain points. They fly great out of all my bows. I also love wood any wood. I seem to shoot more accurate with wood don't know why.

Even with carbon having a tighter tolerence than natural wood, I shoot wood better. The carbons last a long time.

Man it seems that people really love those surewoods if they are shooting woodies..
If it is easy where is the fun. That is why I use a stick and string. The only sight I need is with my eyes.

Beman MFX Classics are my favorites. I'm on my 2nd dozen this year. I've broken only one.

The ones with the frothy blood up to the fletchings    :D
TGMM-Family of the Bow

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow's effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

TRAP

tapered POC, Microflites, and Easton Autumn Orange are my favs.

My favorite color is:

I love wood,POC,but most of the time I use Carbon Express for convenience.I still love XX78,great shafts but a little bit noisy.Their spine in anyway the most consistent.
