Arcus sagitta - Latin for Bow and Arrow

The Latin word for an archer is "Sagittarius", (plural "Sagittarii")

Therefore, based on your concept of multiple limbs and handles that interchange I suggest "Sagittarii" as your new bow's name.

Since Latin is the foundation of many languages I can see the name of your bow being the foundation of a new era in your company and your line of bows.

The Stalker Sagittarii - The foundation of an archer.

this is it for sure...
1) the 'Clubber'
2) 'Anvil'
3) 'Ground and Pound'
4) the 'Pile-Driver'
5) the 'Ape****'
6) 'K-Bar'

all these names really capture the essence of hunting with a bow. Dont you find?

Ok, here what I came up with. One thing, I don't think it should be too complicated. I think you need names so customers will be able to easily distinguish what bow it is they are ordering. For that matter, if you get too many different off the wall names for so many bows, you will never be able to keep track of what's what.

So the name for the traditional handle longbow riser will be.....CLASSIC...

The name for the more recurve like handle will be... HYBRID...

I think you should stick with the names you already have for the different accents. Something you and your customers are already familiar with...SURGE...  STEALTH... STRIKER...

The two new limbs will be distinguished by...
CURVE (for the recurve limbs)  and
TRAPPER (for the reverse trap longbow limbs)

The carbon option will simply add  ..CARBON.. to the name.

Now, these names will be combined to determine what bow and options they want. Each variety will have 3 names , unless they decide to add carbon then it will have a 4 name description.
I think this will be easy for the customer or you to determine exactly what they want.

I will give a few examples. traditional handle, medium grade riser, and longbow limbs would be the..... CLASSIC STEALTH TRAPPER

The more recurve like handle, fanciest riser, with recurve limbs would be called the.....
HYBRID STRIKER CURVE
If someone wanted to add carbon to this bow...
HYBRID STRIKER CURVE CARBON

As you can see, the first name describes the style of riser

Second name describes the riser accent configuration

Third name describes the limb type

The fourth is used only if they add carbon

The carbon inlay on the back of the limb could be designated by the term ..FOOTED
But I think 5 words may be pushing it and would be better just listed as an option?

So you can keep the names you already have. SURGE  STEALTH STRIKER    for the original recurve. If you ever elect to build and add carbon as an option to one of your original recurves, Then it would become simply the....STEALTH CARBON

Thanks Steve
