Congratulations to all the winners! I can hardly wait to see some pics of these youngsters shooting their new bows.

Thanks Mike. This is the second time I've seen you give away bows to young, beginning archers in the short time I've been a member here. Kudos to you sir.

Thank you very much...
Its a bit embarrassing as I was in the process of ordering one from Mike just two months ago but had to let him know that due to changing policies at work I could no longer afford it and had to cancel till later.
Hannah is very excited and I think I am more than her.
Can't thank you enough.

Jacob's bow showed up yesterday and based on a couple pm's I believe the others probably all got theirs by now too.

Sure is a sweet little bow!  Brown glass, looks like walnut riser and probably maple limb cores.  Hill style straight bow with a little locator grip.  22# @ 25" which should be about perfect.  Came with 4 arrows too.  I took it out in the yard and shot two of them at a leaf.  Didn't want to shoot any more than that before I put a shelf and sideplate on it.  Both arrows hit high but the fletch were touching.  This was from about 10 yards.  I'm going to take some leather to work with me tonight and see if I can get some time to whip out a quiver of some sort.

I'll post pictures after Christmas and I'll be sure Jacob knows who to thank for it too.

In the mean time, here's a very sincere THANK YOU from me to both David Knipes (Vermonster13) for your generosity and Mike Mecredy for your talent.

And Merry Christmas to all of Tradgang too!!!
Dave

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

Lonala,

This particular give away is done and over.  Look for one that starts with ho ho ho... something about a Christmas give away.  It's the current one going on.
