Lisa and I were up at the lease the other day to just check on things. See how the food plot was doing, check the cameras and stop in to see the land owner. It was a social trip, rather than a hunting trip.

As we drove across the cut bean field along one of the creek drainages we stopped real quickly because I saw a deer slowly climbing the creek bank on the other side. The first thing I noticed was how wide the deer's rump was. This thing looked like a mule! It was so wide you could have rolled an egg down its back. I saw antlers, but that was all I could see. LOTS OF ANTLERS! The big dude ambled along without a care in the world.

We went down to check the camera and the feeder. Lo and behold, we had pictures of what I am pretty sure is the buck we saw in the creek bed.

I don't think I have ever seen a buck with tines this tall and the kickers are pretty cool too. You guys have no idea how bad I want for Lisa to get this buck! We will be out there Thursday through Sunday. Maybe we can get a couple of does between us and then the Big Kahuna will come by.

Thanks for all the good vibes fellas!

I was just telling Lisa that I hope that dude spreads his wild oats far and wide before he meets his end.

I will keep everyone posted and hopefully put up some pictures, even if the Biggun' don't come home with us.

Thanks again.
