I have been hunting this buck for 2 years now and i get pic's of him on my trail cameras almost every day/nite.I have only seen this buck when hunting 3 times in 2 years and only in range one time[It was doe only season]and i had to let him walk away. This pic is him standing about 12 yards in front of my ground blind. He has a habit of walking in front of my blinds and treestands when i'm not there, right before i get there or right after i leave. He is either a very smart buck or a very lucky buck. One day i think we will meet in the woods again and i don't know who will come out on top.

We call him big lefty.

He probably has your pattern down, try changing it up.

You've already won ,just seeing him and being in his living room.I hunting two great mulies each one for three years and finally got them.Keep your line in the water his luck will eventually run out.All the best

I'm having the same problem. This evening he came in from behind me a way that he rarely uses with the wind in his favor and he smelled me.That is the 3rd time he has busted me like that.I have seen him probably 15 20 times so far without a shot. Most of those times he didnt bust me and never knew I was there but no shot. And a week before gun season.

Is that pic morning, noon,or evening ? look back at you pics and see if you can find a patterned time. Then you may have to go down the trail his walks and set up another stand.
Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a
difference in the world, but the Marines don't have that problem.

I agree that he has you patterned. Change it up. Try a double man drop off...two walk in to your set up, one walks back out. Sounds like he can either see, smeel or hear your entrances and exits...

Good luck, heck of a buck.

Oh he is killable. Just wait, a non bathing ,cigarette smoking, Dorita and bean dip eating first timer with stale beer breath will kill him at 4 yards.

A great thing to remember is that it's nearly impossible for most hunters to pattern and kill one particular buck.    Some guys may tell you they can do it, but I'll put money down that they don't do it regularly.

If you do that, 9x out of 10x that buck will become, in your mind, unkillable and you probably won't enjoy your sport as much.   The thing to learn to do is to manage the deer that are in your zone of shooting comfort and select your animal when that event, with more than one animal at a time, occurs.

I like your answer Onehair.....that is exactly what is more than likely going to happen.   Someone's half drunk, idiot, undeserving brother-in-law and the guy will do it with an old compound bow and dull broadhead.
