I've been waiting patiently for Brians site to get up and running. I see he has his one piece going to be posted there.

Unless any of you gents can help me out..

LOL

Those Myrtle limbs are speaking to me.

Your riser is phynolic, right?

I notice the arrows match well too. That was no accident, I bet. It's one of the most beautiful bows I have ever seen.

I'm still deciding.

Yep...it's phenolic. I'm REALLY hard on bows and Brian said it was a good pick. As far as the arrows...not only do FMJ's rock but they match nicely too. Thanks...Ryan

I know the webmaster is working hard on the new site.  In the meantime, Lin, here are a few shots I grabbed off the old site of Ryan's and similar combos:

I shot Ryans bow at Denton Hill, and that thing feels real nice.

:biglaugh:

Mike, that should say volumes about the durability of the TallTines...I imagine you pulled that mid 40s bow to about 36"

I have had mine for 4 years now Steve O gave me a heads up on some beautiful cocobolo wood for the riser.I just love this bow, I have had quite a few custom bows an they are were very nice but this one just fits me great...my favorite bow I have ever owned by far!Fine bow!

I have two, one of which I just Christened last weekend with a fat doe. I got both of them in the off the classifieds.  They're amazing bows.  The grip fits my hand perfectly and they shoot as  smooth as silk  I took a few pictures on my cell phone, but they don't do either bow justice.

Love the grip. As fast or faster than any bow I own.
Here is mine next to my Blacktail.
The left one is the Tall Tines. Chechen riser with Myrtle limbs.
A good guy to work with.

I guess I posted on this thread in 2010 on page 5...six years and a bunch of dead animals later they are still the only bow I will shoot with any seriousness...I want to try a Selfbow sometime though too
Brian has been wonderful to deal with as well

Steve O

Yep. My opinion has not changed. Great bows and Brian is always working to make them better. I see he has a couple in the sponsor classified section right now that are available with no wait.

There is a reason the only bow I hunt with, and shoot for that matter, is a Tall Tines.  I see absolutely no reason for me to have any other.  Not that there is anything wrong with the other bow manufacturers, it's just that my Tall Tines has always done exactly what I have asked of it.

Not to mention, Brian is one heck of a good guy and easy going.  Just as most every reputable Trad bow maker is.
