Had an absolutely awesome morning this morning. Had 4 bucks around me chasing. A very nice gnarly looking 10 point was at spitting distance. Sorry didn't get any photos. That stand is in a tight spot and had my hands on my bow instead of the camera hanging close by and with them and the does all around, they had me pinned down.

In contrast tonight was a bust. Two does and a fawn until I heard the leaves crunching again. Watching for the culprit I see this guy slipping through the woods and on his way in. He got broadside in an opening and I squeaked with my lips. He stopped immediately and the Morrison had loosed the arrow. It all happened so fast I had no idea where I hit him. He turned to bite his attacker then bolted 30 yards or so before he started tumbling. At 24 yards the shot was perfectly through his heart (total luck I promise). Sorry for the crappy picture my flash is broken. I'll take some more tomorrow if I get a moment.

Nice yote Tom, I don't see that many while deer hunting but turkey season I always seem to see a few.  Hopefully one day I can tag one of those sneaky yotes.  Congrats again Tom.

  Tom, another "fawn assassin" taking a dirt nap... as tough a stickbow kill as any critter. They don't call them "Wiley" for nothing !!
