Hey bow builders,I just got a collector bow(for me anyway)that looks mid 50's to early 60's anyway the only info on the bow is the maker's name and who it was for as near as I can tell the limb cores are 1/8 inch at riser tapering to 1/32 at the limb tips the fiberglass(woven) shows 1/16, can any one give me a rough guess on the draw weight of this bow with this amount of information or can it be calculated at all like this? This bow won't be strung or shot, due to it's rarity (not really valuable just hard to find) and it has some cracks and appears to be starting to de-laminate a little, just wondered  if you guys that know more than me (most of you)would know how to do this,I'll get tip to tip length if that's needed to figure this out,THANKS in advance.

Could give you a rough idea on the draw wieght if you tell me:

- Recurve or longbow
- length of the riser
- length from nock to nock follow any curves along the back
-the width of the limbs at the fades
- the total thickness of the limbs at the fades

Thanks for getting back to me,it's a recurve, riser is 25.5",actual length checked with sewing tape and not letting the tape sag into the handle is 68",it's 1 11/16 wide at the fades and is 9/32" thick  these are all steel tape or sewing measuring tape measurements not micrometer,THANKS in advance, you should be able to get a free meal somewhere in a couple of days last year we got a freebie on veterans day at Golden Corral and Applebee's,my father was in a Red Horse unit and served in Viet-Nam 69/70,I was a peace-time soldier in the 101st Airborne. Thanks for your service.

I've never made a 'curve that big, but I'd guess it to be mid 50's at 28", being .281 thick  that wide and that long with a riser that long as well.
