Thanks for all you guys looking and the comments. The wife canned several cans today in her pressure cooker, great for quick easy meals and taste like the best pot roast you ever ate. We are planning on canning 1/2 of the meat from this buck and the doe I killed the day before, grind the rest. The 2 deer boned out, minus the backstraps and tenderloins made about#100 even. With my elk, a lot of the wifes elk from last year, and 20, #2 rolls of burger from last years deer we are set for the next 2-3 years. How shall Iever eat my way through 2 elk!! Rough job but someones got to do it.

I know someone that can definitely reduce your canned meat load! I'd hate to see a friend get completely broken down with too much meat.
