My daughter won a mad dog pup in a giveawawy and it absolutely beautifull. Nicer than my bow! (not a maddog)

My Sister just ordered two.  Mid-sized recurve for my nephew Cameron and a pup longbow for my daughter Charlotte.

Can't wait for them to get here for the kids to have a go.

I'd much rather support a independent boywer than one of the  "off the shelf" archery companies.

(Hi Mike it's Andy for Sydney I never got back to you to place the order as my sister did instead - cheers)

I remember calling Mike a few years ago when I was looking for bows for my sons.  He told me, "I like to make nice bows for kids to shoot, not just a chunk of fiberglass with a rubber handle stuck on.  That way, they feel like they are shooting a REAL bow."

They are definitely 'real bows' complete with leather grip, elk antler limb tip overlays, inset medallion, and did I mention they shoot great?

"All bowhunting trips are good,  some are just real good!"  Bill Baker

"We're all trophy hunters...until something else comes along."  Glenn St. Charles

Cool photos - your kids have great form for their ages too!

Those photos are going to be gold when you boys are older.
Cheers,

Skoots

Well after doing some research and seeing the great reviews, I'm going to make sure my next bow is going to be a Maddog. Thanks for all the replys to this gentlemens question, helped myself and I'm sure a few others too.
