Ol Man is very comfortable but not a lot of room for a trad bow.

lone wolf for me. quiet, comfortable, lite,easy to use.  but they are a bit pricey.  good luck sounds like most like the summit.

I own an Equalizer. A bit more pricey than some but a great stand. I hate heaghts and am almost 300lbs. No worries with the stand. Also I use the HSS vest harness for safety.
Good luck. Can't go wrong with any of them really.

I've had a bunch of climbers and now am using old API Shoot'n Star, old Summit open front, new Summit Open Shot, Equalizer and Lone Wolf Hand Climber.

I like the Lone Wolf Hand Climber best for my use. I hunt with 64" recurve and get the best clearance all around with the Lone Wolf. It's the quietest, most sturdy in the tree, packs together faster, lightest to carry and goes on the smallest trees. However, it doesn't do good on trees with a fast tapper from big at base to smaller and will not work on bigger size trees. The Equalizer works best on all different size trees..has more adjustably and the Summits won't work on smaller trees. The old API is heavy.

Summit. I'm 6' 3", 285 lb, plenty of room and very comfortable!!!!!!!!

Seen an X Stand in a bow shop a few days ago.  the stand is an 11 lb climber.  Pretty light as far as climbers go.

I have used both Summit and Lone Wolf climbers.  Both company's have great stands, obviously with Summit having more models to choose from. I simply prefer the Lone Wolf because it packs flat, I feel it is quieter, and doesn't have the bulk and weight of some of the Summits. Great stand for the money.

API man here, I like the chain and they can be used on bigger trees than most

You are 6 foot 3 I am 6 foot 4 and the Summit is too small when you wear heavy clothes.  Go API I love mine and it is easy to use.  Good luck!

I just bought a Summit Viper SS last week. I swore for years I'd never use a climber, but Im sold on it. No moving parts to squeak. Very stable and quiet. There is a learning curve getting used to using it, allow yourself some time in the backyard or somewhere practiving with it a few times befoe going afield with it.
Also, make sure to give yourself time in the woods to get it up and situated. Its really easy, but like anything new, take your time and be safe. I also highly recommend getting a good safety harness system. I bought a Hunter SafetySystem vest. I can wear it under my outer camo and run th tether out the top of my jacket. I wish I had bought that years ago.

I'll be giving all my strap on climbing sticks and stands to my kid. He can wrestle with 'em if he wants.

I use my Lone Wolf climber for 95% of my hunting.  This is it's 7th year of use.  Sold the Summit last year.  Jeff

Summit Viper is comfortable.I actuly fell alsleep in it the first time out and didn't fall out.Use harness anyhow now.

i own a summit viper and an ol' man. Both are nice and hug the tree well. Summitt carries better to me.  STRONGLY reccomend getting a net seat for hte summit and taking off hte seat that comes on it. The Ol man is more comforatble with its net seat but you cna get essentatilly the same seat for summit. The ohter thing about the net seat -- when you stand up, the back of your knees automatically push the seat back out of yoru way - This won't happen on teh stock seat on the summit.

I have a summit hand climber, old man vision, and a lone wolf sit-n-climb. You would think the old man would be very comfortable, but its not. Its also very noisy when its cold out. Hands down the Lone Wolf is my stand of choice in climbers. I also just picked up 4 sticks and an assault by LW, great combo as well.

API. Look for an older one

I'm a LW user but there is a new Summit that has an open front and folds flat. Just can't think of the name of it.
