I had a close encounter yesterday with a 140" plus 10 pt. Had him at 10 yards side hill to side hill and shot just over his back. A really ticky shot as the distance can fool you.... and it did. Here is one of his rubs. Would have been my first traditional kill.

I watched three different bucks work this rub in two days. It's by far the biggest whitetail rub I have ever seen. Thats a full size day pack for reference.

It was In Indiana!

Adeeden,

Ken,
One of them was 140 inch deer and the other two were in the 120 inch range. Yes i passed on them I had already filled my buck tag at the time!

Work day at our camp yesterday. After the work was completed I went to set up my game cam on a perennial scrape area. There were just too many to try and get them all (7 or so in a 30 yard circle.) I'll have pics when I go back to get them in three weeks.

Nice sign, guys.

It started to rain on me today so i climbed down and did a little looking around and found a spot with some rubs and scrapes right next to a big white oak thats dropping.

Today I decided to go to some public land that I havent been to for over a year.

Saw more hunters than deer.

But ran across this:

I think I might go back a couple more times before season ends!
