What would be the best quiver for my montana longbow without breaking the bank?

Look at Big Jim's. I'm not a bowquiver guy, but if I was, it looks like a great quiver for the money.

What size quiver are you looking for? Eagle's Flight Archery make a 3, 4, and 5 arrow quiver. Our quivers fit tight and are light weight. Our smallest 3 arrow quiver weighs only 3.2 ounces.

I used a sel-way slide on when I had my Montana.  Now I don't have the Montana and I don't use bow quivers anymore.

I use the Great Northern strap on quiver.  It works really well and is quiet.  I can change it to other bows easily too.

Depends on how many arrows you want to take, all the ones listed above are good and the prices vary.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Big Jim's 4 arrow quiver -$49.99 buffalo hide covered and weighs in at under 5 oz.

I'll second the eagle's flight...very nice, good looking and very light.

I have several of the EFA quivers and other than putting the arrow shafts a little too close to my hand I really like them. Mine are several years old. I think they have made some modifications to prevent this.

The Big Jim quivers look pretty good. Big hoods to hold big broadheads.

The bow quiver I use the most is my Thunderhorn Boa (the wife has one too). I don't hunt with the quiver on the bow. I take them off when I get to the stand or blind. The velcro on the EFA is a little too noisy for that. The straps on the Boa are easy and quiet.

I really like the EFAs for stump or 3D shooting though. They are very light.

In a moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing.

I have a Selway slide on. Holds five arrows. Not sure I need that many. The deer run after I miss with the first arrow anyway. (:
