I just got a new tube of Fletchtite and the color of the glue is yellowish, rather than the clear. It dries clear and seams to hold great.

You say a new tube of Fletchtite. White or Platiunum? White was discontinued a couple years ago. That may be why it has yellowed.

Look at the tube crimp. The date of mfr used to be stamped there. Historically Bohning said their stuff had a shelf life of one year.

I have used it long after that but it would get stringy and yellow. The old pint cans you could add thinnner to and make it like new.

Its a white tube (not platinum)and has a new tapered spout built in(not like the clear screw on ones) and the hook in the store was fully stocked,I would think it's in date, but I will check for sure. It's more of a gold color and works great no clogging or stringing.
