Out of all the recurves I've owned....the WhisperStik was the quietest.

Beyond a doubt my vote goes to Rodney Wright's Firehawk longbow.

cheers
Family,family,family mmmm... and bows

I have owned and shot alot of bows and for me, the quietest recurve is the Rick Welch Dakota Pro Hunter.    Even with very light arrows this bow is quieter than my longbows.

HB3

no contest, the Dryad static limbs, quiter than a long bow, it's the limb design it is curved so the string does not slap. First heard one at a shooting clinic in Ft worth with Rod Jenkins put on by Dryad, could not believe how quite they were.

Burnsie

My Fox High Seirra is by far the quietest.  I've tried the same set-up on all my other bows and just have never been able to get them as quiet. The Fox is a very soft low thud noise.
"You can't get into a bar fight if you don't go to the bar" (Grandma was pretty wise)

Frisky

My 83' Bob Savage Deathmaster. Also, an old Bear 76er can be made whisper quiet.

I will throw a vote in for the Assenheimer's and the King panther from Rose Oak as well for the quiet factor.

Out of those two, I will take the Assenheimer  because I like the grip. Brandon from Rose Oak would probably customize the grip for a customer. Couldn't go wrong either way for silence and performance.

56" Groves Flame Hunter is totally silent - of course, I'm not as young as I used to be.

Mohawk longbow deadly silent

I know most longbow are quite, I was looking more for recurves like stated in my first post... but it is all good info!!

Red Tailed Hawk

I know many complain about Black widow's being loud. I have a psax and I am not experiencing that.

Real Buckmaster

Both my morrison recurves 60" quiet and the 62" sounds like a long bow. FFFTT.

Sixby

The quietest by far, and I mean far I have shot is my Talon static. It does not need silencert to hunt with. I would imagine that the Dryad Static is just as quiet as the design is very close but I have not shot one. However in my personal shooting experience shooting literally hundreds of different recurves the Talon is the quietest.God Bless you all ,Steve

I have been spoiled by a 1950's longcurve. It's a model D97 "Dervish" 62" 44@28. (I wish I knew who made it.)

It almost looks like a hybrid, and almost like a recurve but feels like a feather light longbow that hits right where I'm looking.

It is so quiet that it's actually "cool"!

God bless,Mudd

Assenheimer shoots quiter than any bow I have ever shot and I've been to lots of shoots.I own schaffer(2),morrisons(2),widows and some great bows but assenheimer shoots just naturally quiet.
