I got some hush puppy bow silencers a while back and have misplaced the direction sheet.. Can someone help me out?  I am assuming I glue these together or something like that? Any youtube video's on these?
Blessings,
Steve

Separate the string into halves and put the yarn bundle between.  The yarn ends had glue on them (at least they used to), you'll need to cut the glue off.

PastorSteveHill

That is it?  I don't have to tie them up or anything?  Just seperat the string, put them in and cut off the glue edges?  Is that all or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance!
Blessings,
Steve

Be sure to burnish some wax into the string real good before you install the silencers.  In my experience with many different bows and strings if you burnish in a good amount of wax into the sring just prior to installation that is all that is necessary to hold the puppies in place.

This thread reminds me I need to order some more for a new Morrison Dakota that just arrived and a Griffin that is supposed to be here today!

I do mine just like House. Wax the string well, then lay the Puppy between the strings halves. I like to string the bow and leave overnight to really set them in.

BTW ... I don't know how much material you get now, but I used half of a bundle for each 'puff'.

I don't tie my Hush Puppies in,I like to make sur my string is waxed good and then seperate them and put them between the bundles. Then I trim off the glued ends and then pluck the string a few times.

Think the insructions say to put it in then string the bow and let it sit for 24 hours... Something like that anyways....

I tied mine in with some suture...for some reason, I followed directions (for once.)
