Killed my favorite ironwood bow while shooting during lunch break.  RIGHT DURING THE MIDDLE OF BOWSEASON!!!!  Think I let it get too dry (hardly ever a problem in East Texas!!).  AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

i know it sucks at first. im into self bows maybe as much as you are.but you will get over it. i look at selfbows as a tool. tools eventually wear out . it doesnt matter how well we take care of them, they have a life of thier own. im in the process of building another self bow as we speak. im sure you'll do the same have a great season. and i hope you make plenty of harvests through the season , ruddy
