A fine bow is now on the way from Montana to Australia. Beth sent me these photographs:

 

 

 

 

From memory, the limb veneers are zebrawood; the riser is Macassar ebony and rosewood-stained Dymondwood (for low-stretch string). This is the first flared-riser that Dave has made for a one-piece recurve; he did a fine job, eh.

The bow will be around the 65# @ 28" mark, give or take.

Once again, the Windauers have been so helpful and absolutely top-notch in their kind service.

I'll keep you all posted with more photos when she arrives!

Great looking bow Ben!  That rosewood dymanwood and Macassar look great together.  The rosewood looks a bit like Cocobolo.

I'm amazed how different the 1-piece and the TD look.
