Been reading the Pet Peeve thread and had a few thought on the subject. Nothing should bother us and if it does we need to put the blame where it belongs. Lack of family values, poor school systems, presidents who don't know what sex is and the me first mind set of a lot of people. That is why I like this site. In my mind folks on this site over look our faults and enjoy our love of traditional archery. I know I'm not the sharpest arrow in the quiver and my grammar leaves a little to be desired but I still feel at home here. I'm getting close to having 60 years be hind the bow and I'm still learning on this site. We are lucky to have this place.
I try not to let my mind wander...It is too small and fragile to be out by itself.

I agree. When I was in my teens, over forty years ago, I bought my recurve but had little more than the Archer's Bible to teach me. Now the internet has allowed me to connect with a lot of good people with like interests. I am glad to be here.

A guy on another archery site that I made a trade with and eventually got to be friends with, pointed me toward this site and I can't be thankful enough. The best thing I ever did for advancing my Trad skills was to show up here on Trad Gang's doorstep. I thank everyone for accepting me with all my flaws, it is truly a wonderful collection of fine people. I can honestly say that I have not met anyone here that was what I would consider unfriendly. You are all some of the nicest, most knowledgeable fellas (and gals) and give advice willingly..eagerly to green horns to Trad shooting like myself and it's greatly appreciated! My skills with a recurve and longbow have improved 10 fold since I came here...Thank You!
