I recently woke up with numbness on my leftside and muscle weakness. After a trip to the hospital and a couple of MRIs, I was told that they found brain damage froma head trauma that occured when I was in Iraq (army) and a 1 centimeter lesion on the right side of my brain. Those symptoms along with current ones have prompted my neurologist to tell me I probably have Multiple Sclerosis. I was wondering if anyone here has the same sickness and, if so, how has that affected your hunting experience?  There are some days I can't even draw my bow because I'm so weak. I don't want to give up hunting but I feel like it's coming. Any advice, stories or pep talks would be greatly appreciated.

Blake,
I have some experience, here, and want you to know there can still be some great bowhunting ahead!   Look for a private message, if you would.

Traditional bowhunting is often a game of seconds... and inches!

I know it's not the same but take Tred Barta for insperation. Attitude is  very powerful. Never give up! I am praying for you! Keep positive and do what you love. We don't even know exactly how our brains work so seek the medical help you need and keep at it. Thank you for your service to keep us all safe and free!!

My dad had MS for 15 years. He remained active and was able to do lots of things. He got fatigued faster and the heat bothered him but he was able to hunt and live a fairly normal life. Hang in there.
