just wondering what results your gettin compared to the b50

4 point

I've been shooting one made by Oliverstacy on my Dale Dye. It seems to stretch a lot less than B 50. Everything about it seems better than B 50 but that's just my opinion.

Just ordered some so I'll be testing some out soon!!!
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

I'll be interested in seeing your results . gillchaser

I like mine and it seems to stretch a little less than B-50

Chad made me one (LBR) and I really like it. It is a little quieter than B50, but seemed to stretch alittle more when new. It wears very well. I going to order more from Chad soon.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

I build my own strings. 18 strand Brownell B-50 with .015 Brownell mini serving for the end loops and Brownell .020 diamond back for center serving is what my old, less efficient, 1958 KS likes. BJ nocks fit perfectly. I get little or no stretch after about 100 shots. I set my brace height at 7-5/8" and after about 2,000 shots it settles at 7-1/2". String stretch is largely a layup issue. Nock fit is largely a choice of center serving and/or nock.

I've tried 12-strand, 14-strand, and 16-strand B-50 but there is no speed advantage according to my chronograph. There is much more noise with the lesser strand strings.

I'd be interested in the B-55 results, number of strands for bow specs, servings used, and if there were any speed advantages and what if any noise issues there are compared to the old standby B-50.

I've made many, many strings with it. No difference as far as I can tell.
