Anybody use camo burlap for a ground blind? Tried
camo bug netting one time, cost me a deer.It had a glare to it.Deer picked it out right off the
bat.Headed off the other direction.Wind was coming from them to me.After they left I went over where they were, looked in the direction of
my blind, and it hade a glare to it.I know that spooked them.

Never had a problem with burlap just make sure as with any blind that you brush it in good.

difference in the world, but the Marines don't have that problem.

3feathers, I have a net that was intended to be used as something like a decoration in a seafood restaurant..a "fishnet" about 3' x 10'.  I tied burlap strips, and jute twine all over it to make a "ghillie blind"..I can hang it in front, or behind me in just a few seconds with some branches or twigs I cut at my blind site.
The net material allows me to stick natural leaves, brush, and branches in it to blend in with the surrounding vegetation.
If you can't find the "decorative" fish net I use, a bunch of used old fishing nets hung together would work I am sure...Just go to "wally-world" and buy a couple of rolls of jute twine, and a can of "camo" spray paint in your choice of colors and go to work!
It is so easy to carry and sets up in a flash!!
