well I have been out three times this season and have only been able to hunt one of those time.  The first trip was interrupted by winter wheat planting.  Second trip was a great night just all the deer decided to avoid my trails.  Just got back from tonights hunt and discovered that my stand had been stolen.  What a bummer.  I really hope this season turns around in a hurry.  It has been two years since I had a shot a deer.  Thats just bad luck.  Also I am sure there is a special place in Hell for those that steal deer stands. LOL

did you hunt from the ground after you realized your stand was gone?  might as well enjoy the evening and try to make some lemonade!

That is sad that someone would come in and take your stands. When I was growing up my uncle and granddaddy would have had a fit just to know I sat in someones stand much less take it and run. Good luck this year next time set a trail cam in a hidden spot with a view of your stand and if someone takes your stand post their picture at every wild life weigh station you can find. Maybe shame will work for them.

thought about sitting on the ground but was so pissed off that I couldnt do anything but pace around.  I just pulled my other stand and went to the house
