When I use a climber, I use my Summit Bushmaster the most. It's the most comfortable seat I've found for me.

Cheap is not the way to go when it comes to stands there are a lot of good ones out there but it will take some looking.

Check out Summit, Muddy Outdoors, Lone Wolf, and Millennium. All great stands with good comments.

Another option is a lock-on that uses mounting attachments like the Millennium, Summit, and others.

This will allow you to have one stand and many trees setup.

Just carry your stand and ladders to whatever stand you wish to hunt.

I would if at all possible put a little extra money into a climbing stand. Personally I would never buy a used stand unless I knew the person who was selling it. Buying a used stand off of someone you don't know would scare the daylights out of me. I know the gorillas are a pretty nice stand for the money but the inexpensive ones are a little heavier. If you put a little extra into it in the beginning you will have a stand that will last many years.

Summit "open shot" climber $199. Great for bowhunting and a good climber overall.

we only recommend Lone Wolf climbers - and since we switched have never had to buy another climbing stand. The best climber in all respects - not even close - we have saved money in the long run.<><
