(and hopefully first pic)

I took part in what's become an annual ritual for myself and a few friends again this year - Utah's sage grouse hunt.  But having fallen completely into the whole bowhunting arena this year, I decided to take my bow instead of a shotgun.  Of course my buddies just brushed it off as something weird that I'm prone to do...no way I could get one with an arrow.  After we busted the first flock and I sent an arrow, uh, no where near anything else with feathers I was beginning to see their point.  I was, however, committed as I had 'neglected' to bring my shotgun.  I got another couple shots at a bird that one of my companions wounded, but alas, my arrow was only close enough to make it jump a couple times.  Undaunted, I continued my walk up the draw and looked down the ravine off to my left and saw a big boomer trying to run around behind us - I drew and stuck a Bear Razorhead into him right between the shoulder blades just as he was about to take flight.  Never had I felt such a rush from a bird hunt.  I'm no longer the butt of the jokes in our sage grouse hunting circle!
Let's hope this picture works...

How about that! Nice shot and great photo. Thank you for sharing. Doesn't feel good when you make nonbelievers believers.

Sweet.  No more gun bunnies making trad jokes.  I know what you mean.  I am goose hunting with my bow this year.  Should be a challenge.
