Just started seeing some today.  Saw a scrape or two earlier this week.

I was sitting in my ladder stand last Saterday, when it finally got daylight what did I see a rub on a ceder tree about 8" through. Might be a good'n!! I have seen several. Jason

Im seeing them all over our land since early Sept .

I've seen very few rubs or scrapes and the rubs I've seen aren't the big ones that get the blood flowing. I've only seen one buck other than a yrling spike.

Seeing a lot more doe than last yr. so I figure the bucks will be there around Nov. I don't see the big sign till late season in the one area I hunt anyway.

I'm finding alot of rubs and scrapes here in south central PA.

I have been finding them since late august and now starting to find actual rub lines and some old stand by, sign post rubs(trees or fence posts that are rubbed every year). I actually counted over 80 rubs squirrel hunting last weekend. I believe because we have few does in that area the bucks really pick up the pace, actually I am finding some scrapes opening up as well. Shawn

Started finding them the end of Sept. Found 7 of them and a few scrapes 15 yards from a stand I haven't used in years.

I musy have seen over 200 rubs yesterday on my mid day (raining) scouting trip along with several dozen scrapes.

Weathers cooling down, the leaves are falling like crazy, and things are about to get interesting!

Saw a good one last weekend...in WV

I was seeing buck rubs from the last two weeks of September on.

seems i'm hearing yes and no from north to south. i live and hunt in southwest oiho, i saw a few in early sept. squirrel hunting, got excited, now it's the third week of bow season and i had to look hard to find a couple new ones. normally i start to see scrapes around crop fields by now, the 15th of oct., but none. i'm getting a little concerned, 2 weeks till the end of oct., i have two guys coming from alabama to hunt with me the first week in nov. because i told them that's when we need to be in our stands all day. it's been the case for years. here around cincinnati they say, just wait an hour and the weather will change again. there are some that still believe when the first frost comes the rut will kick in. could they possibly be right? we're still wearing shorts. the lord knows my white legs would make the ruttingness buck go nocturnal. ha! i think it's been proven daylight hours and moon phase is what determines the rut, that only changes a day or two each year. any debates or arguments? i need someting to get my blood pumpimg. just joking, that fist shooter buck, a scrape, or grunt, will be enough. we all know the big boys won't show themselves until it's time. it's coming, just as christ return, we just have to be ready.
