So please don't hate me (or tell my wife), but I have a new blond in my life. Her name is 'Blondie'. She is so incredibly beautiful I am going to wait for sunlight to take pictures so you can see her blond curls and it has been raining all day and now it is dark.

here are her measurements/vital statistics
Home state: Montana
Parents Dan and Donna Toelke
5'2" tall
59# (@29")
2-pc Whip
Golden Myrtle veneers
Maple and bacote accents
Sheep horn tips

Here is the story of how I met her and fell in love.
Several weeks ago I contacted Dan Toelke of montana bows and we discussed what I wanted in my new 'girl'. He suggested he had some golden Myrtle with curls and a SUPERB figure. Well I decided to take the plunge.
After a bit of confusion with the post office (i.e. they didn't leave me a pink slip telling me she was waiting for me to pick her up at the main post office since Thursday), I picked her up this afternoon.
I sat in the car in the parking lot just staring. Involuntarily the word WOW escaped from my lips, not once, not twice but 4 times!
Even my 3yo said wow when he saw it when I picked him up from preschool.

Again forgive me for not posting pictures yet, but you have to see her in person to understand. I will do my best tomorrow in sunlight to take pics that show her true beauty(hopefully it'll stop raining enough to take pics).

Oh and my first 3 arrows (bareshafts no less) at 10 yds at last light slapped against each other in the target. Yes I am in love...

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow's effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

She sounds sweet and sounds like she needs a Strong man to handle her....Just don't name her "Lady GAGA"   :biglaugh:

Hey Chop,   they make these things called cameras,  sell them everywhere nowadays,  they take photos,  those photos can actually be put online for people to see!!  I know its hard to believe, but its true, really.     :p

Congrats on the bow,  Dan is on the top of the list of "best" bowyers in my view.

She sounds hot!! and she doesn't talk back or spend money. Does she have a sister?    And if things don't work out you won't need a lawyer to put her on the classifieds. Good luck with her.

When you do post the picture I'm imagining it will be "folded" in the "center"?

Doc Nock

There's that mouse fart referernce again... somethings should stay in camp!

     :saywhat:

Love the comment about a center fold!  :)
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

So these pictures don't come any where close to doing her justice. But weather, time, and photographic talent were working against me...btw my little boy insisted his bow be included in the photo shoot...

She does have a "fold" in the middle after all...Only it's a bowbolt and not a staple through the center
