Tanto Tip

Could any one post,how to file the tip on a Magnus two blade.the needle point tends to bend. THANX D>

I am at work and can't post a pic, but when I shot Magnus, I would cut the tip off with some side cutters to make the point about 1/8" wide and file it sharp.  You can either file it to a flat, sharp point or file the clipped edge on about a 45 deg angle to the base of the broadhead to make your tip.

I put a chisel tip on all my Zwickey and old Bear broadheads by using a file.

And a drawing of how I sharpen a tanto on a single bevel after grinding it to shape:



Since your Magnus heads are double bevel, you would sharpen each half of the tanto with a double bevel knife edge.
