So how fast do you think Howard Hill's arrows went?

and how heavy do you think they were? Yeah yeah I know speed doesn't matter. But I am just curious.

I'm not talking about his elephant setup, but the one he used most.

His go to bow in his younger years was 100#. Believe he shot over 85# regularly until late in life. Just guessing, including his HH BH's & heavier shafts, likely flew 175-185fps.

I'm feeling wimpy.

Any idea what the arrows might have weighed?

Jerry Hill would know but I haven't heard from him in awhile. Somebody go check on him & let us know. Tell him I said hey.

I would say fast enough with the track record he had. I imagine the critters would all mostly agree..

Lol - I was all fired up to say 'it doesn't matter' but the OP beat me to it.  :-p

100# bows - wow.  I'm such a wuss.

stickhead

If you shoot 100# bow with 10gr per arrows I don' t know how fast they fly but that's some big time knock down power.
