I understand completely!! I'm not sure I should let this cat out of the bag but that feeling doesn't change to any extent whether it's your 1st bow or your 500th or at least it hasn't for me and based on the level of excitement garnered from reading other prospective new owners threads and posts on here I'd venture a guess it still holds true for them also.

You're in with some real good company Lady!!

BTW there's a new-to-me Cari-bow Featherhorn Diamond Series, 66" and 50# @ 28",horn overlays on riser and limb tips in the mail system headed my way that I'm pretty stoked about myself....lol

Thank you for allowing us to share in your love for archery.

God bless,Mudd

The day a bow is to arrive is hard to beat!  I even meet the UPS or Fed Ex. guy half way across the yard!

YORNOC

By the way, what do you have coming Irene?????

hahaha! I'll probably be at work when it arrives. But my USPS lady knows me (i order alot of things online.) and she'll leave it in a safe place.

I have a vintage Wing Slimline Corsair comeing my way. Its a really light weight bow, cause my bow whose type shall not be named, is set at 30#'s... so i went smaller to 20# to get a feel for thing. or so it was recommended to me.

Either way, im excited... even if it needs strings and i need arrows still.  :(  plus i have no where to shoot still cause my yard has a tendency to swallow my arrows.

maybe i can head to the range and try it out if someone has arrows or something that are similar for it.

It will need a little TLC anyways so it will be nice to be able to give it a good cleaning, and maybe refurb the coating the wood has.  :)

Make sure you post you new recurve pics on here!

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow's effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

I completely understand. I have a new to me Thunderstick Mag on the way and I can't wait. I am looking at the Big Jim Bows as well. Those are a sweet looking bow.

It's pre-loved but it has history too. hopefully i can make it beautiful again! even though its not too bad looking at the moment.   :D

Is there a rule about posting pics i should know about?

Siloutemirage, the last new bow I got was in 2004. It was a PSAX Black Widow Kingwood. I still remember the anticipation. Wheather it's a bow or activity there's always something to look foreward to.   :)

No rule other than size, and yours are below the 640 allowed. Ya done good - LOL

New bows are just like hunting - if ya don't get the extreme thrill anymore - it's time to quit - buying/hunting -   ;)
