I had a great day today shooting with Butch and Shawn.

We literally wore ourselves slick between shooting here and a nice long trip through the woods stalking some slippery stumps.

One of the many highlights of the day had to be when after gather up our arrows in one spot and moving on to another I happen to notice that Butch hadn't looked for his bow. Now I had moved his bow from where he had laid it on the ground but that joke meant nothing now because he wasn't looking everywhere for his bow. He was just walking along with us. I was starting to worry that Shawn wasn't going to find our next target close enough to the spot where Butch's bow was leaning against a tree. I was just about to let the cat out of the bag when Shawn came through with a target. I let Shawn go 1st, after he shot I told Butch he could go next and like a trooper he stepped up got an arrow out of his quiver and it was only then that he realized he didn't have a bow...lol It was one of those priceless moments...lol

Thank you both for a glorious day!

God bless,Mudd

Good times for sure.

I was almost going to say "What no Robin Hood Hat?" when I saw that one pic.

It was a great time. Forgetting my bow was worth it just to see the laugh Roy & Shawn got. I kind of felt like Roy's Dad would tell him, " There ain't no sense being ignorant if you don't show it". Any embarrassment was well worth the good time I had with my friends. I do wish Grey Buffalo could have made it.

Looks like a great time! You had enough bows there so you could have just spread them out and not have to carry one!

Mudd had three or four more in the shed. It's like going to a trad archery shop.

In years passed I would attend a great shoot there. They did have a great range. Is it still there?
