Good luck finding a funnel in the big woods around the Rhine area. Never could find a natural funnel that would have movement on a consitent basis while in ER. Good luck

As Shawn mentioned, you CAN do alot to educate deer by hunting mornings. Some areas can`t be hunted in the mornings, without spooking deer. Those areas are best avoided.

However, by not hunting mornings, you will be missing out on some of the best hunting there is. If you have an idea of where deer might be feeding during the night, it is only a matter of finding where they will be heading, and getting there before they are close.

Here in Michigan, we have close to 300,000 bowhunters. It seems like 275,000 of them only hunt evenings.
The deer have learned this, and have adapted. They are MUCH MORE CAUTIOUS in the evenings.

I see way more bucks in the mornings, and most of my shots occur in the morning.

Mornings require more stealth. The wind is usually still, and no traffic noise to help cover your entrance. It only takes a little getting used to, but it can be done, and it is worth it.

I love morning hunts, but either go very early (in the stand a good half hour, and hour is better) before legal shooting time, or go in at first light and basically still hunt to your stand...

I've always figured there are two basic times of movement, one very early to first light, the second about 1 1/2-2 hours after sun up.

My theory is some deer feed early so they can be in the bedding area by first light. Others wait for first light to feed
Many have died for my freedom.
One has died for my soul.

I dont understand why people think you only educate deer in the morning."Every time you step into the woods you educate deer".What you dont bump into deer in the evening walking out of your stand?????????????????

I like to hunt Morning, Noon, and After.  Loke others have mentioned, Stand Location and approach are key!

Good luck and take from me what you will, I have yet to kill a deer with a bow!
Relax,
