before you buy - talk to Ron.  He may steer you toward one or the other depending on what you want to sharpen.  Certain BH's are better with the knife sharpener.  Oh heck, be like me and have BOTH!!!!!

I own the knife kit and it is just like everyone here is saying. I sharpen my knifes and broadheads and get VERY sharp edges. Any and all questions that I've had were answered by Ron over the phone. Ron will take the time to make sure that you are 100% satisfied. Ron is a great guy and his product is AWESOME! Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

Well if you haven't bought one by now, I wonder what the problem is.  I forgot to mention, but nearly everyone else did, Ron is jsut top notch plain and simple.  He is not just good people, he is a great sales man and the customer servce is beyond belief.  Just call him and tell him what head you are trying to sharpen. He will get one just like yours and together you will both get a razor edge over the phone.

Ask lansky to do that some time!!!! Great people, great service, great product!  Go for it, Happy birthday to you!!

I bought the KME broadhead sharpener a couple of years ago and couldn't be more pleased!BUY IT NOW and never look back !

After dealing with the American attitude that they don't need customer support or back the products that they make plus ship/manufacture everything overseas I'm fed up. Enter Ron at KME ,he was a relief just to talk to , he wanted you to be happy with your product . He also backed, supported and enjoyed telling you about his products. It's sad that America has developed into what most people accept, NOT RON !

Buy it and then buy another for a friend or relative as a Christmas gift!

Yep. I have very little sharpening talent, but the KME knife sharpener (because I shoot glue-ons on woodies) makes an edge I'm proud of.

Rons products are very well made, and he actually answered the phone and walked me through through the broadhead sharpening process over the phone when I was having some difficulty. 10 minutes later I had the sharpest broadhead I had ever owned. I doubt you'll be dissappointed.

Look at the EdgePro made in Hood River, OR.  I like it the best of all!

Here's a photo I shot of my KME knife sharpener.  I think the KME system is as good as it gets.

I got both at the KME booth int Baltimore last year. I really like the broadheads sharpener (which will not work on the knife sharpener stones). Using a file to set the bevel saves a ton of time and I highly recommend it. I set the file along side a quarter inche Leicester of plywood that was th same thickness as the file and the  slid the broadheads sharpener alongside it (don't roll it on top of the file). Removed a lot of metal quickly and particularly helped gring down the laminate tip of the magnus heads. Stripping on cardboard was a tip offered by Ron and boy does that help put a shine on.  I look like I have mange now!

The knife sharpener is nice too but takes a little experience. Just did my mistreated hunting knife. I had trouble getting the drop point curve sharp, but looking back I don't think I had the blade positioned right. A longer reach changes the angle slightly and I had to do a lot more bevel setting on the part of the blade further from the clamp. Took a while but it's sharper than it's ever been.

What more needs to be said? I'm getting the deluxe BH and the knife sharpener kits. Each in it's own case and from whats been said - sharpening problems solved!

To answer your question. YES!

I own both systems and see no need to keep looking for a system that works, because these can't be topped.
Now... if they would just make one large enough to sharpen my machete.

Buckwheaties

The short answer is YES!! Ron is a great guy and has time to talk on the phone. He is very helpful in tutoring over the phone, not that much tutoring is needed, but he will teach you "little tricks" that will help. Everything I own is sharp.. Grizzly BH's cut my fingers just handling them..
