Hey people---find a furrier [a manufacturer of garments from animal skins] and go through there scrap pile--they will probably give you--or for a very small fee your choice of a variety of scraps from different animals.

Up for velcro.  Best I have ever found.

OK.  But if we use Velcro, for God's sake, do not let Mr. G. Fred Asbell know we are using it.  As I recall, he LOATHES the stuff!

Justin I think you are right, with the recovery of those populations there should be a limited harvest. The removal of a few animals (could be hunted) would keep the numbers in check and reduse the conflicts...

Some people think Velcro slows their arrow speed down. I don't know if this is true as I have not run any tests on it.

I love the velcro for wear and whatnot, but on some of my older carbon arrows it sounds like the Boston Symphony warming up when the arrow is drawn across it... just won't do on a cold, still morning... went back to good old moleskin...

I wear out velcro in no time. I had a friend send me some sealskin free of charge, and said he would not sell it as he had a buddy get in a lot of trouble selling it. I might do a little giveaway later

There was a member who was selling it here last year I believe, reasonably priced. I could see this coming so I bought a lifetime supply of it.
I love it. Wears like iron and looks great too. I also have some calf hair that works great too.
I too, wear out velcro fast.

You velcro lovers better stock up as it going to be hard to get in the future. Seems that PETA is pushing for elimination of hunting seasons for the species "Velcronious Walmartsoni".
 

I assume in whatever region PETA files their suit, they will already have a federal judge in their pocket.

Just thinking out loud...anyone tried otter?  Seems like the closest match I can think of, animal wise.
