Hi Kat, I'm around the site on occasions looking for archery equipment, try to post on some of the topics. Hows life for ya'll, I was back in Tennessee for the World Trad Shoot, that was a great time, met a few locals who welcomed all with some great hospitality. Picked up a self bow, had a fine gent make me up some flintheads, and then I made me some arrows out of cane. So I been out a time or two trying to harvest some game with my primative setup.They're just ain't enough time in a day to do all the honeydo's and assist friends that need help so I can go hunt.

Actually I did run across some horsehide recently. I like the way it dyes up. It has a sort of grain that looks great. So far I have made a few armguards and a quiver but haven't decided exactly where to use it.
