Several days ago,I sat in the blind for 6 hours. That was some afternoon. There were at least 6-7 thunderstorms during that time. There was one hail storm that pounded pea sized hail for about a half hour, with scary lightning all around. It didn't seem too smart to be sitting in the shack,in the middle of open country, during a lightning storm but the walk back to the truck didn't seem like a safer alternative so I hung tight. At least I could stay dry till I fried.

Anyway, toward the end of the day,it started to clear and this rainbow formed,in front of Manhead.

It wasn't a productive day as far as shot opportunities but one I won't forget soon.It was interesting. As I stepped out of the snack to head to the truck,I got this view. This is looking opposite, where the rainbow was.The sun setting over the Continental Divide.

You really haven't hunted the old fashion way until you've done it from one of these Indian houses.(The Tipi) "Glenn ST. Charles"

Great picks Jim! A hunters paradise, elk, whitetails and goats all in the same field.
Keep the pics coming!

Good job on the antelope.  Patience is a virtue.
