Well double dang #$%#%$## and a whole lot more than that.

You guessed it my Rose Oak Riser has a kicked the bucket, ugh. Went shooting again and you could hear the riser split as I was coming to full draw. Let down real quick. I know you might be able to restore it so it looks good BUT no way I want to trust in shooting it. Did I say DANG IT.
Now I have a pair of gorgeous Yew veneer limbs without a way to shoot them. If I can't find a Bear B riser I'll put them up for trade/sale. They are way too good looking to sit alone.
This one really hurts, it was an excellent riser made by Brandon Stahl. Both me and my son loved shooting it.

Sorry for your loss. I'd not write off anything on this site with the talent in bow repair.

I was going to post what B. Morrison recommends for any crack, ding or chip...SUPER GLUE, but too late.

I'm hoping you can find a replacement riser you like! Some great stuff turns up on our Trad Bows forum!

I also had a nearly new GT nock fail. Both ears went at the same time. Was only shooting the one arrow at the time and no hard hits.

I haven't shot too many types of arrows, and don't know the type of plastic Grizzly uses on the nocks, but I do know from my own experience that I don't trust the translucent (green, orange, etc.) nocks made of stiff/brittle plastic as much as I do the type of plastic used by ArrowDynamics - which are not translucent, are more flexible and haven't failed on me once.

The dry fire experience is enough to make one soil his shorts. I needed a change, that's for sure.

I feel for youre loss, had the same happen to my Bob Lee sometime ago. Still searching for that Riser.

My friend's brand new Silvertip years ago. His arrows too. He let me take a couple of shots at the end of the day and you guessed it, blew a nock and dry fired the bow. Bottom limb delaminated.
I tried to pay for it but he wouldn't let me. Crap happens, glad you didn't hurt yourself or your son.
